Purchasing Assistant

Purchasing Assistant Details:
Direct Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 23.00 / annually Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
This position will assist the Purchasing Manager in all aspects of:
- Procuring
- Inventory management
- Stocking of raw materials
- Packaging
- Pertinent goods needed for the production of finished goods.
Purchasing Assistant Qualifications:
- Experience in purchasing preferably in manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, the equivalent of hands-on experience will be considered
- Fundamental knowledge or experience working with herbal ingredients is helpful
- MS Office proficiency – particularly Excel and Word, instrumentation software and purchasing systems background
- Strong verbal and documented communication skills are a must
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and data documentation
- Flexibility in work; ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change, with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at one time
