Manufacturing Engineer Details:

• $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 /annually

• Act as primary Lean lead for regional facilities assigned to Technically support all regional sites for full implementation of the internal strategy deployment software system.
• Value Stream Mapping (VSM): Develop VSM implementation plan for each facility within region.
• President’s Kaizens: Develop “Kaizen Roadmaps” planning for and implement kaizen workshops for each facility within region.
• Facility Lean Assessments: Responsible for Lean Assessment corrective action plan development and implementation for every facility within region.
• KPI Metric Board Implementation Cost Reduction Program: For each facility, develop and manage a formal Cost Reduction Program.
• Achieve overall annual operational savings of $6M, proportionate to your regional impact.
• Subject Matter Experts (SME’s): Assist in the identification of process SME’s within each facility.
• Implement LDM for every facility within region.
• Responds to customer’s requests for information (quotes, project information and general information) within the time parameters given by the customer.
• Creates good working relationships with all customer contacts
• Promote Lean Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
• Reviews blueprints, plans and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected changes in production.
• Coordinates the activities of Engineering, Tool Engineering and Manufacturing on various critical orders to ensure delivery consistent with customer requirements.
• Reports to Management on trends or changes occurring at our customers, prospects, and manufacturing industry as a whole.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
• Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
