Elwood Staffing is looking for a Forklift Operator for a metal shop in Salem Oregon!

Originally founded in 1938 as Salem Steel & Supply, the business operated for many years from a single location in West Salem. The business changed to new ownership in the early 1980’s and was re- named Ram Steel. Over the years, many new inventory items and processing services were added, and the company underwent further expansion. The companies were combined which currently operates with warehouse and processing services at three locations- West Salem, South Salem, and Albany.

Forklift Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$18.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

Wages go up upon hire!

Forklift Operator Qualifications:

Must pass tape measure test.
Great customer service a must!
Running Cut-off Saws and assisting the Sawing Dept. activities as needed.
Assisting the loading of trucks with others
• Storing inventory in the warehouse with forklifts, and overhead cranes.

Applicant may be subject to a background check
